The Halo Blade

Today, I present to you my new lightsaber soundfont, The Halo Blade! This soundfont was created at the request of Phoenix Props for their incredible MK-IV Energy Saber, which is also designed in the spirit of the Halo video game! The soundfont includes 88 sounds that I designed using the original sounds from the video game. Of course, I worked on each of these sounds using Reaper and my plugin library to give them a quality that closely resembles a lightsaber! I also succeeded in cloning the voice of Master Chief to create quotes that are triggered by the Force effect.

The soundfont is divided into three versions, each with different (preon/out/hum/in), allowing users to choose their favorite version! I’m especially proud of my (preon) effect and the red blade, where a portion of the blade features the (remap) function from the blade style editor, giving it a truly unique effect! This does not take away from the charm of the other two styles, which also required a lot of work!
